Congress Connect Educational Trip to South Africa

This educational trip is designed to gather information on U.S. relations with Global South countries and the future of multilateralism. Over five days, the delegation, composed of seven senior U.S. congressional staffers, will participate in policy dialogues and guided site visits to meet with policy experts and communities from Global South countries, as well as officials from regional organizations and the South African government.

Dialogues will focus on U.S. relations with Global South countries, including with South Africa, on the future of multilateralism, reform of the international financial architecture (IFA), and development-oriented critical mineral strategies.
