Alberto Maresca is a Ph.D. Candidate in political science at Ghent University, as a UNU-CRIS Fellow and BOF Scholarship recipient. His research focuses on the foreign policies of Latin American and Caribbean states toward the rest of the Global South. Alberto holds a Master of Arts in Latin American studies from Georgetown University, a master’s in diplomacy and international relations from the Diplomatic School of Spain, and a bachelor’s in political science and international relations from the University Federico II of Naples.
